		<description>Nasty stuff! Still, as long as you&#039;ve not overwritten the drive with anything you should get most, if not all, of it back without too much hassle. May take a bit to sort things out depending on what and how the software recovers the files but these things are quite good at recovery these days!</description>

		<description>Update on the data recovery, not that it&#039;s all that interesting....

Two nights ago we had a power cut in the middle of the data recovery which obviously meant a premature halt to the process, a bit of a pain when the data recovery software takes around 8 hours just to do it&#039;s initial scans. After a bit of persuasion the ailing drive was coaxed into spinning up again to start the whole process over again.

Then sometime last night, the computer decided to restart itself mid recovery process even though it&#039;s not supposed to do any automatic update and restart nonsense. 

So here we go with round 3.....
