10:16:46 AM: Awoken by morning sun burning through tent only a couple of hours after getting to bed

11:19:53 AM: First wave of team lucha britannia are breaking camp. We are hiding in the shade with our restorative tea

11:25:04 AM: Contemplating doing the 15 minute walk across the site to performance tent to bring back our big cases of outfits

9:39:03 AM: Overcast morning probably for the best as we are a little pink from yesterday

9:42:26 AM: Finally managed to make a decent cup of tea on the hexi stove. Lucha camp still slumbers

9:46:22 AM: Last nights show had bug and martian causing havoc in the ring i will have to wait for the video to see what it looked like as i was martian

9:50:24 AM: Wakey wakey campers ! Music starting and low flying jet. Did i mention the campsite was right next to the airport?

10:31:34 AM: 1 2 1 1 2 2 2 11 2 11… terry! bring up the kick drum… The distinctive call of the lesser spotted stage tech

11:27:13 AM: Sun is out again and everybody in camp lucha is enjoying it – except Cherry who is sunburnt and hiding undercover

5:41:32 PM: another sweltering day, been taking it easy to save energy for tonights double appearance in the final lucha show

5:46:37 PM: Mission for the rest of the day – try to catch m manson and prodigy before hiking up to the ring tent

8:08:26 PM: MM a bit uninspiring left to get reasonable spot for prodigy

10:45:48 PM: Prodigy did an awesome set, now in our backstage tent building up energy for pig and biohazard romp

We’re all packed ready to head off tomorrow to Donnington Park for the Download music festival. Thursday, Friday and Saturday we’ll be doing some exclusive shows with Lucha Britannia for the festival crowd. Read more
