FAQs – Latex Questions
Where do you get all your latex from?
All of the latex clothes, costumes and accesories comes from our very own Pretty Pervy Workshops. You can see what’s currently available in the online shop here . If you’ve seen something on PPUnleashed but it’s not in the shop email us here to check on price and availability.
Why don’t you use some of the pretty dresses from somewhere else?
Because we have our own creative workshops and like having fun coming up with designs just for ourselves. We are designers sweetie, you know
Is it difficult to look after? Surely covering it in that gunk can’t be good for it?
PPRobert and Cherry have over 30 years of experience making, wearing and caring for latex between us so have learnt what’s good, and what’s not so good for latex. We only ever use oil-free based lubes and things to ‘get gunky’ as it were and are now past masters at washing, drying and storing latex.
Where can I get that dress I saw in xyz photo shoot/film?
All clothing, costumes and accesories are made by Pretty Pervy and can either be found in the online shop here or if they’re not there you can email us for a price and availability check here . Please bear in mind though that some of the featured items are one off custom designs we have produced for client’s that wanted to share their creation with you and we cannot reproduce these, but contact us to discuss this.
Is it really all latex? Surely you can’t sit down in that dress if it were really a big latex bottom?
Well, most of it is. Some of it is rubber (there’s a big debate on what is latex and what is rubber – from our Point of View, the sheet material we use is latex, the really thick black stuff is rubber). Anything that isn’t latex is in the ‘Other Galleries’ section. And yes, you really can sit, dance, walk, talk and sometimes drink in those big latex bottoms (we have picture proof after all!)
You’ve got photos of latex things out in the sun and in swimming pools…. isn’t that bad for latex?
PrettyP Productions / Pretty Pervy does not endorse the use of any of it’s latex items in strong sunlight or swimming pools. Neither of which are all that nice to latex.
We don’t follow our own advice because a) we can always make a replacement if anything nasty happens and b) it’s fun!
